NEW WATER HEATER INSTALLATIONS:
NOTE: Price Electric Cooperative does not sell or install water heaters.
Price Electric Cooperative incentive program for new electric water heater control program customers. A purchase receipt for the new water heater is required, unless it is included in the price of the new home.
- $50.00 rebate is given for 50 to 79 gallon water heaters that enroll in the 4 hour control program, plus free service and parts on the water heater while enrolled in the program.
- $350.00 rebate is given for 80 gallon and above water heaters that enroll in the 4 hour control program, plus free service and parts on the water heater while enrolled in the program.
- 100 gallons and over can be placed on the dual fuel system and receive the dual fuel rate and $350.00 rebate when they are controlled on the storage strategy 10 hours on and 14 hours off, each day. This program is only for customers with dual fuel service.

Customers already enrolled in the water heater incentive program are allowed the following incentive rebates (a purchase receipt is required for the incentive to be paid):
- $50.00 rebate is given for 50 to 79 gallon water heaters that enroll in the 4 hour control program, plus free service and parts on the water heater while enrolled in the program.
- $200.00 rebate is given for 80 to 99 gallon water heaters that enroll in the 6 hour control program, plus free service and parts on the water heater while enrolled in the program.
- $3.00 per gallon for 100 gallon or greater water heater when they are controlled on the storage strategy 10 hours on and 14 hours off, each day. This program is only for customers with dual fuel service. Free service and part maintenance is available with this option.
